You’re invited to hear about Pyramid’s plans

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Guilderland Coalition for Responsible Growth, I want to invite the community to attend our next meeting at the Guilderland Public Library on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m.

At this meeting, the Guilderland town planner, Ken Kovalchik, will be attending for an open public forum to educate and discuss with us the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process, particularly as to how it applies to the Pyramid development on Rapp Road, and the “Smart Growth Principles” advocated by Smart Growth America.

We look forward to hosting this public forum to help us build a more open dialog with town of Guilderland officials so they better understand the concerns of Guilderland residents and that we better understand their positions on current and future development.
