Costco will create jobs

To the Editor:

I have been keeping my eyes and ears open for news on the planned Costco here in Guilderland being approved of.

As we listen to the news and see consistent messages regarding business closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am hopeful that an approval on bringing a national brand such as Costco to our town will help bring some much-needed business to our community and the Capital Region.

Costco is not just known for selling great products at great prices, but is one of the nation’s top employers as well. This build will create jobs during construction and in the long-term, and will bring much-needed tax revenue to the town also.

I’m hoping we get to see it take shape soon!
