PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Guilderland Center Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Guilderland Center Fire house located at 30 School Road, Guilderland Center, New York 12085 for the purpose of:
Electing one (1) Fire Commissioner for a 5-year term commencing on January 1st, 2024, and ending on December 31st, 2028
Candidates for District Office of Fire Commissioner shall notify the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Fire Commissioners in writing of intent to run for office and send to Guilderland Center Fire District, 30 School Road, PO Box 141, Guilderland Center, New York 12085 or
, no later than November 22, 2023.
All residents of the Fire District duly registered with the Albany County Board of Elections as of November 20, 2023 shall be eligible to vote.

Annual Election
Knox Fire District
December 12, 2023
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Knox Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Knox Firehouse Station #1 located at 2198 Route 156, Knox, New York for the purpose of voting on a Fire District Commissioner for a term of five years beginning January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2028. All candidates for this office shall file their names with the Secretary of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Knox Fire District, David Poole, no later than November 22, 2023 and such nominations shall be submitted in writing. Submissions should be sent to: David Poole, Secretary, Knox Board of Fire Commissioners, PO Box 3, Knox NY 12107 or delivered in person to Mr. Poole during any scheduled Monday night drill (commencing at 7 PM) at the Knox Firehouse Station #1. Those who are eligible to vote in this election are qualified voters and have resided in the Fire District for thirty (30) days next preceding this election.

The Knox Fire District is accepting bids to install a drainage pipe and blacktop the parking lot at the Knox Fire Station, located at 2198 Berne Altamont Road in the Town of Knox:

Notice of Annual Election
Berne Fire District and Knox, New York
On December 12, 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Berne Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Berne Fire House located at 30 Canaday Hill Road, Berne, New York, for the purpose of the following: electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2028 and electing one Treasurer for a three (3) year term commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2026.
AND
Shall the resolution adopted on November 21, 2023 by the Berne Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners, pursuant to section 176(23) of the Town Law of the State of New York declaring that the real property owned by the Berne Fire District, 25 Main Street, East Berne, in the Town of Berne, County of Albany, State of New York, is no longer necessary for any of its uses and purposes of the Berne Fire District; and
Further, that the pursuant to Section 176(23) of the Town Law, the Berne Fire District is authorized to dispose of and sell said real property at a price not less than $100,000.00, said resolution having been adopted subject to a mandatory referendum to be conducted as part of the Berne Fire District’s annual election on December 12th, 2023.
Candidate petitions are required and can be obtained from the Secretary of the Berne Fire District. All voters registered with the Albany County Board of Elections on or before November 20, 2023, shall be eligible to vote.
Absentee ballot applications may be obtained from the Secretary of the Berne Fire District. Please call Manuel Mosbey at 518-872-0847 to obtain an application for an absentee ballot. If the absentee ballot application is to be mailed, applications requests are due to the Secretary on or before December 5, 2023. Applications for absentee ballots to be delivered personally are due to the Secretary on or before December 12, 2023

The Town Board of the Town of Rensselaerville wishes to inform the residents of the Town and the Public that the following roads are Limited Use Highways and will not be maintained from December 1, 2023 through April 1, 2024:
Gulf Road Extension from Gulf Road to the northerly end of State Lands;
Kenyon Road from the intersection of Roney Road to CR 358;
Roney Road from last residential structure in from Pearson Road to the intersection of Kenyon
Road;
Scutt Road from the southerly end of State Lands to CCC Road;
Edwards Hill Road from 500 feet in from SR 145 to the top of the hill; and
Brenner Lane
