To the Editor:

Kudos to Leslie Anderson for bringing up the cringe! [“I cringe every time I drive by,” Nov. 10, 2023 letter to the Enterprise editor]

This is what one sees upon entering our town at routes 443 and 156. The building could have been an asset if someone had an eye for beauty.

And why is the lovely “miles to” sign nailed to an ugly piece of particle board?

And what’s with all those other signs? Ugly!

Berne is a beautiful place; let’s do something about that entrance.

There is a wonderful waterfall right behind that building; don’t hide it!
