Kids’ clothes donations sought for Hilltowns Clothing Project

To the Editor:

The Helderberg Kiwanis is planning the fall Hilltowns Clothing Project at Woodmans Hall in Westerlo, at 980 County Route 401, to benefit the Hilltowns Community Resource Center.

Please help by donating children’s clothes, boots, and shoes. Although we will have plenty of adult clothing, we need additional children’s clothing. Please bring children’s clothing to Woodmans Hall between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday, Nov. 18, through Saturday, Nov. 23.

Open Clothing Project Store hours will be Friday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Woodmans Hall.

This clothing event will assist the public to pick out good-quality winter clothing for themselves and their families. All clothing is free. Monetary donations are voluntary and directly benefit the Hilltowns Community Resource Center.

The HCRC provides food pantry information, referrals, advocacy, food stamp applications, back-to-school and holiday assistance, and emergency assistance to individuals and families in need in the Hilltowns area.

Thank you for your support!
