The piano cries or pleads its message and touches souls
To the Editor:
I’m so excited to bring along fantastic artistic talent to help a good cause.
On Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m., at the Westerlo Reformed Church at 564 Route 143 in Westerlo, we’re holding a benefit concert for victims of hurricanes Helene and Milton.
A potluck dinner will follow in their fellowship hall. Please bring a dish to share and enjoy the fun!
Performers include Robin Van Arsdale and Heather Kistner, gospel singers; Peggy Hart on accordion; Laurel Bryden on harmonica; gospel singer Brenda Grant; John Gallagher, an accomplished bagpipe player; guitarist Michael Campbell; and me on piano.
I express life through music.
People call what I play “Wally notes.” They are not written because I “hear” them all the time.
People say, “It sounds like two pianos at times.”
The piano cries or pleads its message and touches souls.
It’s good to lift people up and make a difference.
