Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Article IV, Section 190-41 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:

A Public Hearing for Special Use Permit # 606

Request for Modification of Special Use Permit Application # 606 Approvals: Application originally submitted and approved for Milt Orietas to allow for a Special Use Permit for the construction of a single family dwelling on a 3.01 acre parcel originally owned by Dave Moreau is now requesting to modify the original special use approval that was granted June 5, 2019 to relocate the proposed building location. The property is located within the Commercial District on Youmans Road as 5 Greylock Lane and is identified as New Scotland tax parcel #  72.-3-41.52.  This application is a special use of Article II, Section 190-17 of the town zoning Law.

BID INFORMATION

Sealed bids will be received until the time indicated below.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted and returned to the Bidder unopened.  Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud via a Virtual Bid Opening after specified receipt time.  All interested parties are invited to attend the Virtual Bid Opening.  Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, the Owner being exempt therefrom.

BIDDING DOCUMENTS

It is the intention of this Project to be both environmentally and fiscally conscious of paper use and consumption. Therefore, documents will be distributed as digital sets.  Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications, may be viewed online free of charge beginning October 30, 2020 at www.csarchplanroom.com or www.usinglesspaper.com under ‘Public Projects’, or electronically downloaded for a non-refundable charge of forty-nine dollars ($49.00).  

Complete sets of Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications, on compact disc (CD) may be obtained from Rev, 330 Route 17A, Suite #2, Goshen, New York 10924 Tel: (877) 272-0216, upon depositing the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each combined set of documents.  Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Guilderland Central School District.  

Each Bidder must deposit a Bid Security in the amount and form per the conditions provided in Instructions to Bidders.  All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the Bid Opening.  Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date.

A Virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 1:00 pm AND Monday, November 16, 2020 at 1:00 PM, please follow the instructions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.  Attendance of this meeting is requested as the Owner, Architect, Construction Manager and consultants will be present to discuss the Project.  Attendees should anticipate a Q & A session.  The Architect will transmit to all listed Bidders record of Addenda in response to questions arising at the Conference.

Guilderland Center Fire District

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Election of the Guilderland Center Fire District will take place on December 8, 2020, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Guilderland Center Fire house located at 30 School Road, Guilderland Center, New York 12085 for the purpose of:

Electing one Fire Commissioner for a 5-year term commencing on January 1st, 2021, and ending on December 31st, 2025

Candidates for District Office of Fire Commissioner shall notify the Secretary in writing of intent to run for office and send to Guilderland Center Fire District Secretary, 30 School Road, PO Box 141, Guilderland Center, New York 12085, no later than November 18, 2020.  

All residents of the Fire District duly registered with the Albany County Board of Elections as of November 16, 2020 shall be eligible to vote.

Attention residents of WESTERLO, GREENVILLE, DORMANSVILLE and COEYMANS.  AT&T has an application #20-01 before the Westerlo Planning Board to increase the height of the BARNSIDE CELL TOWER  situated at 6419 SR 32. As a requirement by the Westerlo Planning Board,  a visual rendition needs to be performed .  AT&T will be providing a visual demonstration on Saturday November 14th from 11 am to 1 pm  through the use of a drone and a large suspended fixture depecting the increase of 25’ in height of the tower from 140’ . Inclement weather date will be Saturday November 21st 11 am to 1 pm.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Fort Hunter Fire District will take place on December 8, 2020 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Fort Hunter Fire House located at 3525 Carman Road, Schenectady, N.Y. 12303 for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2025 and approving a resolution authorizing the change to an appointed treasurer. Voters registered with the Albany County Board of Elections on or before November 18th, 2020 shall be eligible to vote.
