NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2022, has been completed and filed on the Office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, 5209 Western Turnpike, Guilderland, NY where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular business hours.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Guilderland will meet and review said 2022Preliminary Budget and hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom for public comment regarding the 2022 Preliminary Budget at 6:00 pm on the 4th day of November, 2021, and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against any item or items therein contained.

LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Rensselaerville has introduced proposed Local Law No. 3 of 2021, a local law Opting out of Adult-Use Retail Dispensaries and Adult-Use On-Site Consumption Sites that requests the Cannabis Control Board prohibit the establishment of adult-use retail dispensary licenses and adult-use on-site consumption licenses within the jurisdiction of the Town of Rensselaerville.
The Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed law on November 10, 2021 at 6:30 pm at the Town of Rensselaerville Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY, at which time and place all those wishing to comment will be provided with the full opportunity to be heard.  Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Town Clerk’s Office or at such hearing. The regularly scheduled Town Board meeting will commence immediately following the public hearing.

THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NEW SCOTLAND ADOPTED A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 11-A OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, A PUBLIC REFERENDUM OF ELIGIBLE VOTERS OF THE NEW SALEM FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.  THE PROPOSITION SEEKS APPROVAL (OR DISAPPROVAL) OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE NEW SALEM FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT DEFINED CONTRIBUTION SERVICE AWARD PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM WAS ESTABLISHED EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1995 AND IS ADMINISTERED BY THE TOWN OF NEW SCOTLAND.
THE AMENDMENT WOULD BE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2022.  IF APPROVED, THE AMENDMENT WOULD INCREASE THE SERVICE AWARD CONTRIBUTION THAT SHALL BE CREDITED TO THE SERVICE AWARD PROGRAM ACCOUNT OF A PARTICIPATING VOLUNTEER FROM $700 TO $1,200 IN $100 INCREMENTS FOR EACH CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING AFTER DECEMBER 31, 2021 DURING WHICH A VOLUNTEER EARNS A YEAR OF SERVICE CREDIT UNDER THE PROGRAM POINT SYSTEM; 
BASED ON THE CURRENT ACTIVE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER ROSTER OF THE NEW SALEM FIRE COMPANY, THE 2021 TOWN PAID ANNUAL COST OF FUNDING THE CURRENT $700 PROGRAM WAS, BEFORE SUBTRACTING FORFEITURES, $12,600, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN $25,900 OR $700.00 PER VOLUNTEER IF ALL CURRENT ACTIVE VOLUNTEERS EARNED A YEAR OF SERVICE CREDIT UNDER THE POINT SYSTEM DURING 2020. SHOULD VOTERS APPROVE THIS AMENDMENT, THE CURRENT ANNUAL COST COULD INCREASE TO AS MUCH AS: $29,600 ($800 PER VOLUNTEER) FOR 2022; $33,000 ($900 PER VOLUNTEER) FOR 2023; $37,000 ($1,000 PER VOLUNTEER) FOR 2024; $40,700 ($1,100 PER VOLUNTEER) FOR 2025; AND $44,400 ($1,200 PER VOLUNTEER) FOR 2026 AND EACH YEAR THEREAFTER. SPECIAL MEETING OF THE GUILDERLAND TOWN BOARD
NOTICE OF HEARING FOR THE INCREASE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE TOWN OF GUILDERLAND WATER DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Guilderland, Albany County, will meet virtually via Zoom on November 19th at 12:00 p.m.to consider the increase and improvement of facilities of the Water District as described in the report prepared by Delaware Engineering, D.P.C. pursuant to Section 202-b of the Town Law, and to hear all persons interested in the subject and for the Town Board to conduct any actions related to this proceeding as may be required by law.
The increase and improvement consists of design, permitting and construction of a filtration system to treat high concentration of iron and manganese in water from the Town’s wells including greensand filtration, backwash equipment and connection to the sewer system, emergency generator, yard piping, connection to the water main, and pump and control improvements, as well as site work and appurtenances with a total maximum estimated cost of $4,259,000, for the increase and improvement of the facilities.
