Please take notice that the Town Board of the Town of Westerlo will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed contract with the Town of Westerlo Volunteer Fire Co., Inc. for providing fire protection and emergency rescue in the Town of Westerlo Fire Protection District for the year 2017 for a total compensation of $225,863. Such hearing will be held at the Westerlo Town Hall, 933 County Route 401 on Wednesday, the 9th day of November, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., and any person desiring to speak for or against the proposed contract or any part thereof will be heard at the time and place of aforesaid.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes a discharge of 6,625 GPD of treated sanitary wastewater to a Tributary of the Black
Creek, a Class C waterbody from a primary treatment plant at the applicant’s facility located at Camp Wildwood
1212 Leesome Lane, Altamont NY. The applicant plans to construct and operate a new wastewater treatment system which uses synthetic media filters, re-circulation tanks and an UV disinfection system to replace the current, outdated sand filter system.
The department has made a tentative determination to issue a permit for a State Pollutant Discharge Elimination
System permit under Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation law. This tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statue is considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information available to the Department at this time. As a tentative determination, the Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance. As such, this tentative determination does not signify department approval for or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall proposed project.
Availability of Application Documents: Filed application documents, and Department draft permits where applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the address of the contact person. To ensure timely service at the time of inspection, it is recommended that an appointment be made with the contact person.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency None Designated State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination Cultural resource lists and maps have been checked. The proposed activity is not in an area of identified archaeological sensitivity and no known registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified or documented for the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
DEC Commissioner Policy 29, Environmental Justice and Permitting (CP-29)
It has been determined that the proposed action is not subject to CP-29.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing has been scheduled for November 15, 2016 at 7:30 PM at the Guilderland Town Hall, Route 20, Guilderland, NY for the purpose of adopting the 2017 budget for the Town of Guilderland.
A copy of the budget is available for inspection by any interested person at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. All those wishing to be heard will be heard.

FOR THE YEAR 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of New
Scotland for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2017, including general town funds, highway/public works funds, fire protection district funds, and special district funds, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of New Scotland, at New Scotland Town Hall, 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, New York, where it is available for inspection by any interested persons during office hours.
The Town Board of the Town of New Scotland shall hold a public hearing on said Preliminary Budget on November 9, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Town of New Scotland, 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY showing such changes, alterations and revisions as have been made therein by the Town Board to the Tentative Budget.
