Candy to the first 1-percent

To the Editor:

We celebrated a “Republican Halloween” this year.

We gave all the candy to the first 1 percent of the trick-or-treaters who showed up at the door.

We then instructed the rest of the children who came to our door to find this 1 percent and ask for a hand-out. (Maybe it will trickle down.)
