To the Editor:

As a Knox highway employee I wanted to take an opportunity to address some of the claims that Supervisor Vas Lefkaditis mistreats the town personnel. All I can say about that is this, and I believe it sums up the supervisor’s personality.

A few years back I injured myself with a chainsaw white cutting trees on Street road. Highway Superintendent Gary Salisbury immediately drove me to the hospital.

When Supervisor Vas heard about my accident he left his home and drove to St. Peter’s to check on me. Mistreats personnel? I don’t think so.

This year I will be supporting Supervisor Vas.
