Woodmansee completed basic training

Pvt. Dominic Woodmansee from Westerlo with the New York Army National Guard completed the Army’s basic combat training and advanced individual training, culminating with a ceremony held Sept. 11, at the Queensbury Readiness Center to mark the start of training with his new unit, the 142nd Transportation Company.

The soldiers will now embark on their traditional National Guard service to state and nation as part-time citizen soldiers.
