Melanie Bunzey is loyal, kind, and honest

To the Editor:

As the election approaches I have, unfortunately, noticed negativity at all levels even down to the local level.

I would like to get beyond that and voice my strong support for Melanie Bunzey for Berne town assessor.

I have known her for over 25 years and, in that time, she has been loyal, kind, and honest in all her dealings. She takes on challenges in all parts of her life with zeal and determination.

Since becoming the town assessor she has taken leave from her work to take a week-long course to become certified. She stays aware of all related developments and listens to all fairly and openly.

I believe her to be a credit to all of us and urge everyone to support her.
