The community is invited to join us at the Presbyterian Church in New Scotland for our second annual “Trunk or Treat” event on Sunday, Oct. 28.  “Trunk or Treat” is again co-sponsored by the New Salem Fire Department.

This is an afternoon event at the church that allows for safe trick-or-treating for children from the area at Halloween-themed vehicles set up in our church parking lot. The New Salem Fire Department will also have vehicles there and, in case of inclement weather, will host the event indoors at the firehouse garage so that children and parents may remain warm and dry.

So please join us for a bit of pre-Halloween fun at the Presbyterian Church in New Scotland, 2010 New Scotland Rd., Slingerlands on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. or if there’s inclement weather, at the New Salem firehouse at 694 New Salem Rd., also in New Scotland.
