Berne Library hosts thought-provoking Holocaust exhibit

To the Editor:

An insightful and thought-provoking exhibit about the Holocaust is now on display at the Berne Public Library.

The work is entitled “Messages from Survivors” and will be available for viewing through Oct. 25. Six large interactive panels (with linked QR codes) and corresponding videos feature first-hand accounts of Jewish prisoners and their perilous paths to survival.

Stories come alive with description as they detail the plight these brave people undertook to escape extreme persecution and genocide unleashed by the German Nazi regime during World War II. “Messages from Survivors” is offered in partnership with the Upper Hudson Library System and The Memory Project Productions,Inc.
