WFD hosts Family Fall Fest

To the Editor:

Attention all Westmere residents! The Westmere Fire Department is hosting a Fall festival on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be pumpkin-painting, arts and crafts, pony rides, and a bounce house.

Also on hand will be the Guilderland Police Department, and members of the Westmere Fire Department will be there to help teach the kids and parents about some Halloween and fire-safety tips.

Kids can wear their costumes for some wonderful prizes. So come on down to the Westmere firehouse at 1741 Western Ave. on Saturday.
