Rose Marie Quick

WESTERLO — Rose Marie Quick, who was born and raised in Westerlo, died after a long illness on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, in Nevada where she had lived. She was 63.

Born on June 18, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Royal Quick Sr., a highway worker, and Cathrine Quick. She was the granddaughter of the late Mildred and Edsel Quick.

Her family were members of the Baptist church in Westerlo.

After Ms. Quick graduated from Greenville High School, she worked for a nursing home in Catskill. Once her daughter was old enough to go to school, Ms. Quick continued her work in the medical field as a home health aid.

She is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Quick, and by her grandsons, John, Malachi, Ezekie, and Roman Quick.

She is also survived by her siblings, Royal Quick Jr., and his wife, Karen, Regina Schreiter, and her husband, AJ, and Robert Quick; by her sister-in-law, Mindy Quick; and by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Her brother, Richard Quick Sr., died before her.

    WESTERLO — Richard “Dick” Rapp died peacefully on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025. He was 87.

    He was born on Nov. 26. 1937, in Albany, son of the late Herman and Ethel (née Manchester) Rapp. He graduated from Berne-Knox-Westerlo in 1956.
