NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW #2- 2025
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Proposed Local Law # 2 of 2025 has been introduced by the Town Board of the Town of Berne on October 7, 2025.  The purpose of this Local Law is to authorize the Town Board under N.Y. General Municipal Law §3-c (the “Property Tax Cap Law”), will authorize the Town Board to override the tax levy limit by the adoption of  Local Law 2025-2 approved by vote of sixty percent (60%) of the Town Board;
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a public hearing on proposed Local Law #1 for 2025 will be held at the Berne Community & Senior Center, 1360 Helderberg Trail, Berne, New York at 6:00 PM on the 22nd day of October, 2025 and that an opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given to those favoring passage of such proposed Local Law and also to those opposed thereto.

Guilderland Center Fire District 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Guilderland Center Fire  District of the Town of Guilderland, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire  Commissioners of the Guilderland Center Fire District, for its consideration. 
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Guilderland Center Fire Station, 30  School Road, Guilderland Center, NY 12085, in the Town of Guilderland, State of New York on  Monday, October 20, 2025.  
Pursuant to Town Law §181.3 (a), the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing  on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow  the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to  allow maximum public participation in the hearing. 
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the  proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed  budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same.  
That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of  Guilderland at Guilderland Town Hall – 2nd Floor, 5209 Western Tpk., Guilderland, NY 12084  and Fire District Treasurer/Secretary at 30 School Road, Guilderland Center, NY 12085 where it  may be inspected by any interested person by appointment.
