To the Editor:

A few minutes ago, I picked up my lunch and then The Enterprise to read.

Seconds later, my lunch was ruined by reading a letter to the editor, denouncing the display of a Confederate flag.

Why is this idiotic reasoning being perpetrated? I would not support what the flag stood for centuries ago, but I sure as hell would not attempt to destroy history just to support an existing ideology.

Sooner or later, one of these ideological idiots will try to destroy other emblems of history, such as Albany eliminating the statue of General Philip Schuyler, a Revolutionary War hero.

I quit.
