Greenberg is persistent, intelligent, honest, and able

To the Editor:
I write to urge your readers from the town of New Scotland to vote in the upcoming election, and to make sure they re-elect Adam Greenberg to the town board.

As one of New Scotland’s two representatives to the Albany County Legislature, I’ve worked with Adam on many projects, from our Climate Smart Communities program and green-energy initiatives to the development of the rail trail and the Hilton barn and park that now abut it.

In his six years on the board, Adam has worked to maintain New Scotland’s distinct character among Albany County towns, but also to make sure that New Scotland is contributing to, and even leading, multi-town projects that benefit us all.

He’s persistent, intelligent, honest, and able. He has a knack for seeing the big picture, but he still has patience for all the little details of running a town.

And he has integrity: If he says he’ll do something — or even that the town will do something — he will.

Adam and I share a vision of a prosperous New Scotland moving into a challenging future, addressing change as needed, and seizing opportunities to benefit the community. We do this always mindful of the fiscal impacts of our decisions.

In short, the residents of New Scotland are lucky to have Adam Greenberg working for them, and they should renew his contract on Nov. 2.

William Reinhardt

District 33

Albany County Legislator
