Thanks to all who supported the Altamont Community Kiosk
To the Editor:
On behalf of Historic Altamont, I would like to express appreciation for the generous support received from so many local businesses and individuals for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 27, celebrating the unveiling of the new Altamont Community Kiosk, which will serve as a hub for hikers from far and wide, as well as a resource for sharing information about our community.
Thank you, Altamont Community Tradition and Jeff Thomas for your generous support, as well as the Allied Brewing Company at Altamont Orchards, the Altamont Vineyard and Winery, Clover Pond Vineyard, and Staucet’s Landscaping and Nursery.
We are also grateful for the support of Altamont Country Values, Altamont Orchards, Altamont Physical Therapy, Fredendall Funeral Home, Orchard Creek Golf Course, Gade Farm, Lindsey Giagni Insurance, John Sands, and Phillips Hardware.
And we appreciate the support of many individuals — Jeff Perlee, Linda and Pete Cure, Gavin Warner, Erin Casey and Jonah Marshall, and Kirby Wilson — along with all the volunteers.
All in all, it was a great day — thanks to the contributions of so many. Thank you all!
Kristin Casey
