The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road) beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Reservations are necessary no later than Oct. 4 and cancellations, if you can’t make it, are a must. Please call Nancy at 518-869-0642 or Carol at 518-869-5253 to reserve. On the menu this month is a penne-pasta-with-meatballs dinner with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $16 inclusive (cash only please).

Our special feature this month is Joe Macerola from Pizza Gram Plus who will speak about his establishment in Guilderland. The special speaker this month is Liz Ringwald from Boonville. Liz is a fun-loving retired nurse with family roots in the Capital District.

Peter Jorsenson will be our special music this month. All are welcome — bring a friend or your significant other. They'll be glad you did!

Nursery care is free at the restaurant by reservation only for infants through kindergarteners — bring a bag lunch for your child.
