GUILDERLAND — Rhondasia Jackson, 17, stabbed two 15-year-old girls with a knife, police say, after they struggled to get back belongings she had taken from one of them.

The struggle ensued on Saturday, Sept. 29, at about 4:15 p.m. at Crossgates Mall, according to a release from the Guilderland Police.

The victims went on their own to Albany Medical Center where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries and released from the hospital, the release said.

The next day, Guilderland Police, who were informed of the incident by the hospital, charged Jackson, who lives a 435 Elk Street, apartment 1, with first-degree robbery and with two counts of second-degree assault — all felonies.

Jackson was arraigned before Judge Christine Napierski in Guilderland Town Court and remanded to Albany County’s jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
