Follow a path through Knox history

To the Editor:
Saturday, Oct. 7, would be a great day to discover New York State’s history! That’s because the state has designated this date as Path Through History Day.

In support of this, Albany County has provided a link to various walking/driving tours at http://www.albanycountyhistory.org/historical-sites/tours/.

Included on this page are driving tours of Knox provided by the Knox Historical Society. The Saddlemire Homestead, located on Route 156 in front of the Knox Town Hall, will also be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for tours of the Knox Historical Society collection. 

Take a driving tour or stop by the Saddlemire Homestead to learn more about our local history!
