Amedore should debate Strong

To the Editor:

Much is at stake in this year’s elections, and we have some first-time candidates among the choices voters have to consider.

In those races, public debates are especially important to help voters compare and contrast the positions of the candidates.

In the race for New York State Senate District 46, Pat Strong is challenging incumbent George Amedore.  I encourage Mr. Amedore to agree to a debate with Ms. Strong so voters can hear directly from both candidates where they stand on the issues that are important to them.
