Earnest Hallock

WESTERLO — Earnest A. “Ernie” Hallock, a long-time highway worker, died on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at his Westerlo home. He was 81.

Born in Albany on Dec. 7, 1933, he was son of the late Alanson J. and Violet Harrington Hallock.

He was raised in New Baltimore, and lived in Westerlo for many years.  He worked on the Albany County Highway Department for more than 30 years, retiring in the early 1990s.

He is survived by his sister, Marie Haley, of Westerlo, and several generations of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery on Route 9W in New Baltimore. Arrangements are by A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville. Condolences may be made online at ajcunninghamfh.com.
