St. John’s hosts free community picnic

To the Editor:

St. John’s Lutheran Church is pleased to invite the Altamont community to a free picnic at Orsini Park on Sunday, Sept. 18, to celebrate its 150th anniversary.

From noon to 6 p.m., hotdogs, salads, fruit, soft drinks, and ice cream will be served. Games for all ages: Bean bag toss, bocce, chess, and more.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs any time that afternoon and meet your neighbors!
