Hollow threat made against Guilderland High School

GUILDERLAND — Early Monday morning, before anyone was at Guilderland High School, “a threat came across on Instagram,” said Superintendent Marie Wiles.

The district worked with the Guilderland Police who investigated, she told The Enterprise, and it was determined the threat “was not credible.”

An email was sent home to “GCSD Families” and also posted to the district website. In it, Wiles wrote, “As always, we take these reports very seriously and the safety of our students and staff is our number one priority.”

“It really came to nothing,” Wiles concluded to The Enterprise.
