For those taxpayers who are having their school taxes paid through an escrow account, the district recommends contacting your bank to ensure proper payment.  However, if you receive the tax bill and you have an escrow account, it is your obligation to contact your bank. If you do not receive a tax bill and do not have an escrow account, please contact me as soon as possible.

VOORHEESVILLE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL TAX COLLECTOR’S NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that I have received the tax list and warrant for the collection of school taxes in the Voorheesville Central School District.

I will receive all taxes beginning September 7, 2018 at the place listed below.  During the period from September 7, 2018 through October 6, 2018 inclusive, there will be no penalty charge for the collection of the tax.

From October 7, 2018 through October 31, 2018, in accordance with Section 2130 of the Education Law and Section 1328 of the Real Property Tax Law, penalty will be charged at a rate of 2%.

No collections will be accepted after October 31, 2018.

Postmarks of October 31, 2018 will be accepted.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE, TOWN OF GUILDERLAND, ALBANY COUNTY, NY. Notice is hereby given that the

Planning Board will conduct a Public Hearing as part of its regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Wednesday, 09/26/2018 at 7:00 p.m., at the Town Offices, 5209 Western Turnpike, Guilderland, NY regarding a Subdivision Application, submitted by Joseph & Ruth Breitenbach, as shown on a drawing entitled “Subdivision Plat, Lands of Joseph A. & Ruth A. Breitenbach, Town of Guilderland, Albany County, New York”, dated 07/25/2018, prepared by Stephen P. Walrath, L.S., Surveying and Land Planning, P.O. Box 381, Altamont, NY 12009. Documentation related to the application can be viewed in the Planning Dept. at Town Hall, M-F, 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Notice of Public Hearing will be mailed to property owners within 500’ of the subject property. Said notice will also be published in the 09/13/2018 issue of the Altamont Enterprise Newspaper. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.

The meeting will be held at the Town of Rensselaerville Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Rensselaerville will hold a Public Hearing on September 25, 2018, at 6:45 pm at the Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY on an Area Variance Application from Patrick Mooney representing Barbara & Frank Pell who reside at 6 Crystal Lake Rd., Rensselaerville, NY 12147; tax parcel 136.06-1-38.  The applicant is looking to construct a new home with 2 out-buildings, one 24’X12’ and the other 8.5’X8.5’. The need for the Variance is due to the fact that the sheds will only by 5’ from the property lines; Zoning requires 15’.

All those interested in this proposal will be provided with the full opportunity to be heard on the date of the Public Hearing.  Persons wishing to appear at such hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative.  Documents in support of this proposed Land Variance are available for inspection at the Rensselaerville Town Hall located at 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY.
