Pick up a home-cooked meal to support our vets

To the Editor:

We cook and you eat at the end of a busy week.

The Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post is holding its fourth annual drive-through chicken barbecue on Friday, Sept. 20, from 3 to 6 p.m.

The food is cooked and prepared in-house by our members.

Each serving includes a half-chicken, potato, corn, cornbread, and dessert. A single meal costs $14, two meals cost $26, and four meals cost $50.

The post is located on Mill Street in Altamont.

The VFW is a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to supporting veterans, their families, and our community. All our work is funded solely through donations and fundraising events.

Thank you for supporting our local veterans.
