To the Editor:

The sixth annual “Discover the Hilltowns” Farms and Artisans Tour is coming up on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 and 18.   Over 30 venues will be open to the public on this free, self-guided driving tour through the back roads of beautiful Berne, Knox, Westerlo, and Rensselaerville.

Head for the hills and discover our magnificent scenery and panoramic views.  Buy a picnic lunch at a local deli or café, and walk a short distance to eat by a waterfall.

Listen to the crickets singing and find bountiful harvests of fresh produce, homemade pies, handcrafted woodworking, fiber arts, and much more.

Advance copies of the tour map and directory are available at local libraries and other public places, or by visiting www.Hilltowns.org for a printable version.
