Raptures will enrapture at Hawk Watch

The Helderberg Hawk Watch is set for Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thacher Park’s Overlook is a prime spot for viewing a variety of fall-migrating raptors.

Get up-close with live raptor demonstrations, plus enjoy crafts, guided hikes, stories, face-painting, accessible seated birding, food, and more!

There’s something for everyone from novice to experienced birder at this family-friendly event.

Girl Scouts can reserve a special Scouts & Family guided Hawk Watch Hike to celebrate Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend by calling Thacher Nature Center at 518-872-0800.
