Route 20 car crash injures several people

GUILDERLAND — A car crash on Route 20 near the River of Life Church sent several people to the hospital on Friday night.

They are in stable condition, according to a release from the Guilderland Police.

The police received several calls at about 8 p.m. and Route 20 was closed between Willow Street and Route 146 for about three-and-a-half hours.

Guilderland Police are currently investigating the cause of the crash, the Saturday release said.

The police were helped at the scene by members of the Guilderland Fire Department, the Guilderland EMS, the New York State Police, and the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
