To the Editor:

As a new resident and homeowner in Guilderland, I have been following the progress on the Costco project closely. I think all of the development that we have seen recently in this town has had, and will continue to have, a positive impact when it is so desperately needed.

I will continue to shop local, whether it be a small business or nationally known sources of retail and I am thankful to live in an area where we can support both.

It is nice to see the town thinking about the future and what is needed in it. Hopefully we can look ahead at this as it becomes a reality.
