On Sept. 15, the Voorheesville Community and School Foundation will hold its annual fundraiser at Indian Ladder Farms Cidery and Brewery Biergarten. The fundraiser will feature ILFCB craft beers and cider, a selection wines, and a full dinner including appetizers, salads, a sirloin carving station, pasta bar with shrimp, chicken and veggies, and desserts. There will be live music by Becca Frame and the Tall Boys, and both a silent and live auction.

The Voorheesville Community and School Foundation was established in 1999 by a group of parents and community members for the purpose of enhancing the educational, cultural, athletic, and organizational opportunities for students and communities primarily in the Voorheesville Central School District. The VCSF has awarded nearly $50,000 in school and community grants just in the past two years alone!

Over the past year, VCSF awarded grants to the New Salem and Voorheesville volunteer fire departments for the purchase of emergency responder radios and made a substantial donation to the Friends of the Voorheesville Playground for the building of the beautiful new community playground at the Voorheesville Elementary School.

These grants can continue only with the assistance of generous donations from our great community.  You can support VCSF by purchasing tickets to the Sept. 15 event, by joining the Honorary Committee, by becoming an event sponsor, by making a cash donation, by seeking a matching donation from your employer, or by donating an item for the auction. Ticket purchases and monetary donations may be made at the VCSF website, www.vcsfoundation.com.

Our annual fundraiser is a great opportunity to get together with friends for an enjoyable evening under the stars to raise money for a great cause!  We hope to see you there!
