Seeking donated goods for Giant Sale at Bethlehem Grange

To the Editor:

Bethlehem Grange 137 is among the oldest Granges, at 143 years old. The National Grange is celebrating 150 years this year. Our building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Needless to say, our building is constantly in need of repairs and general maintenance. The proceeds from our Giant Sale on Friday, Sept. 8, and Saturday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, will be going toward the maintenance of our building.

Donations for the sale are currently being accepted. We are looking for gently-used or new items including tools, toys, small furniture, collectibles, antiques, housewares, dishes, glassware, craft items, household items, linens, fabric, yarn, music items, books, jewelry, china, Christmas items, and decorative items.

We cannot accept televisions, computers, or tires. To arrange delivery, please call me at (518) 438-8862,  Vern Starr at (518) 567-4294, Caroline Wirth at (518) 424-4953, or Jo Downey (518) 767-2985.

Thank you for your assistance!

Carol Carpenter, Master

Bethlehem Grange 137
