Suzanne Barry joins Albany Medical Center pediatrics

Suzanne Barry, D.O., a pediatric intensivist with interests in resident education, pediatric respiratory failure, sepsis, and pediatric sedation, has joined Albany Medical Center’s Department of Pediatrics.

Barry recently completed her fellowship in pediatric critical care from A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. She has served as a resident faculty instructor at Tufts Medical School/Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, and as an osteopathic medicine and anatomy teaching fellow at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine.

She has published research on early nutrition in critically ill children in “Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.”

Board-certified in pediatrics, Barry received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Barry, her husband, and their three children reside in Selkirk.
