Help us preserve Hilltowns’ heritage of trap shooting

To the Editor:
The Berne Conservation Club has been operating since the early 1930s. Unfortunately, over the last two-and-a-half years, the club has been in a hiatus.

We recently held a reorganization meeting and have had follow-up meetings to elect several new officers.

The club has a trap range that is now back in operation on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 (weather permitting). We are open to the public interested in trap shooting at this time.

Experienced members will gladly help first-time shooters in learning about the sport of trap shooting.

We are also interested in teaching gun safety to both men and women and in assisting youth and junior shooters (ages 12 to 17) in getting started in shooting sports. New members are always welcome to join the club.

Help us preserve a part of the Hilltowns’ historic heritage.

For more information ontTrap shooting or on joining the Berne Conservation Club, please contact either Lee Godin at 518-542-2709 ( ) or Mike Vincent, at 518-872-0389 ( ).
