Stuyvesant Plaza hosts final sidewalk sale of the season

GUILDERLAND — Stuyvesant Plaza merchants will bring their goods outdoors during the outdoor shopping center’s final sidewalk sale of the season on Saturday, Aug. 12.

The plaza will open at 9:30 a.m. to accommodate shoppers and will remain open until 6 p.m.

For more than 40 years, Stuyvesant Plaza has celebrated summer with two sidewalk sales, a tradition that remains a defining feature of the plaza. The first sidewalk sale this year took place in June.

Almost all of the retailers within the plaza take part in the sidewalk sale and will feature inventory that has been significantly reduced in price.
