Stuyvesant Plaza holds sidewalk sale

GUILDERLAND — Stuyvesant Plaza merchants will bring their goods outdoors during the plaza’s second sidewalk sale of the season on Saturday, Aug. 1. The plaza will open at 9:30 a.m. to accommodate shoppers and will remain open until 6 p.m.

For more than 40 years, Stuyvesant Plaza has celebrated summer with two sidewalk sales, a tradition that remains a defining feature of the plaza.

Almost all of the nearly 60 retailers within the plaza take part in the sidewalk sale and will feature inventory that has been significantly reduced in price.
