Safety tips for walkers

To the Editor:

We are having so many rainy, dreary days that it’s hard to see walkers when you are driving. 

So I just want to remind people how to stay safe when walking on the roads.

Walk facing traffic. If walking two and three abreast, change to single file when cars are coming.

Also, wear bright colors or better yet a safety vest so you are seen!
