Knox roadside flags will wave till Labor Day

To the Editor:

As a person drives through the town of Knox, a feeling of pride surrounds him or her. Many residents have expressed their feelings of how great the flags along Route 156 look.

With that in mind, the Women’s Auxiliary to the Knox Volunteer Fire Company has decided to leave the flags flying until after Labor Day. If people wish to have their flags removed before then, please call me at 872-9400.

Small towns and villages are truly the backbone of America.
