Lunch and learn about Castle Breitenbach

The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring an “August” luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Carman Road beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

Your reservation is necessary no later than Aug. 3 and you must let us know ahead if you are canceling. Please call Mae at 518-95-8977 for reservations.

On the menu this month is a sausage/pepper/onion hoagie and pasta salad with an alternative choice of grilled-chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only).

Penny Keen from Black River, New York will speak on “Losing Control, but Finding Peace and Forgiveness.” Thom Breitenbach will discuss his life, construction of Castle Breitenbach in Altamont, his Proverbidiom paintings, and books. Peter Jorgenson will sing for us.
