To the Editor:

Councilman Joel Willsey is taking a beating for the town of Berne.

Not many folks could withstand the never-ending uphill battle, by themselves, against the misguided, incompetent vengeful group that is supposed to be managing town of Berne government. Sorry to see a person who made many meaningful contributions to the community long before he was on the town board put in this demoralizing position.

Makes me wonder who will want to step up and run for positions in the future. Convicted felons might have a chance.

Joel, you are valued, appreciated, and respected by your neighbors in Berne.
