Our New Scotland works constantly to support our community
To the Editor:
Yes! So many of your own neighbors are operating businesses right here, in Our New Scotland. With respect to Jesse Sommer’s “Making a living is what makes life worth living” column last week, I invite all our readers to explore the broad array of New Scottish businesses that “make life worth living!” We are so excited to invite you to Community Day on Aug. 20 in Nichols Park!
As in decades past in our United States, every small business owner works day and night to provide the best products and service for you, our neighbors, within our means. Some, like New Scotland Spirits, are truly home-grown and distilled over years; some, like Shufelt Group’s design and marketing, expose and promote the best of what we do, each in its own unique way.
Every member of Our New Scotland works constantly to support the rest of our community, including other businesses, and especially the residents.
You didn’t know we’re here? Or just never got the chance to know more about one of us? Well, please join us in Nichols Park on Aug. 20 and find out more about how we, your neighborhood businesses, are, in Jesse’s words, “making a living that makes life worth living!”
Come on over and be part of what the New Scotland Historical Association will be proud to record as Our New Scotland’s First Annual Community Day!
