Seeking owner of two Great Pyrenees

— Photo from Paul Gribbon

These two dogs, one male and one female, were found at large in Berne on July 14. Berne’s dog control officer is hoping to find their owner.

To the Editor:

I received a call for two dogs at large in the area of Camp Lane and Joslyn School Road in Berne on Sunday, July 14.

I checked with local residents and was unable to locate any owner locally. Neither dog was wearing a collar.

There is one male and one female; both are white Great Pyrenees. If you would potentially be able to publish something in an attempt to find their owners, I would be grateful.

I am hoping they were not abandoned and will not need to be rehomed or placed into a shelter but am not sure at this time. I have attached pictures of the dogs. If anybody has any information or knows the owner, the town hall is 518-872-1448.
