This victory is as much yours as it is mine

To the Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers and supporters who were instrumental in helping me win the Democratic nomination for one of the two seats up for election on the Guilderland Town Board.

People stepped up and volunteered their time and energy, knocked on doors in the freezing cold during a pandemic to gather signatures, passed out flyers during extreme heat, spread the word on social media, starred in videos endorsing me, wrote letters to the editor, came to my Vote Yoga and pizza parties, displayed my sign on their lawns, and voted for me in the first ever Democratic primary for Guilderland Town Board.

This was truly a people-powered campaign and I am amazed at what we accomplished together. I could not have done this without you and this victory is as much yours as it is mine. Your faith in me and our message to bring change to Guilderland kept me going night after night, knocking on doors and engaging voters right up until Election Day.

I wish you a relaxing and fun-filled summer with your friends and families. Rest up because our work is not done yet.  We will be back on the campaign trail in the fall. The general election is coming up on Nov. 2, 2021, and I will be facing opponents.

We cannot take for granted our victory but with your continued support I know we can win.  I look forward to being elected to be your voice on the Guilderland Town Board.

Please know that I am truly humbled and honored to be your candidate for Guilderland Town Board.

Christine M. Napierski
