Catherine ‘Kay’ Hagen West

Catherine “Kay” Hagen West — a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother — died on Thursday, June 23, 2016 in Lake City, Florida. She was 88.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Hagen.

She is survived by her son, Michael West; her daughters-in-law, Jackie M. West and Marilyn West; her grandchildren, Jason and Jim West, Kristen Langford, and Sarah Sapp; her great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Eva, Jace, and Jayden; and many nieces and nephews.

Her beloved husband, Fred West, died in 1993. Two of her sons, Fred C. West and Mark West, also died before her, as did her sister, Priscilla “Pat” Scalzetto, and her brother-in-law, Ralph Scalzetto.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 18, at Sloansville Cemetery. Arrangements are by the White-Van Buren Funeral Home in Delanson.
