Janetsky promoted vice president of NBT Bank

Commercial Banking Account Representative Brenda Janetsky has been promoted to assistant vice president of NBT Bank.

In this position, Janetsky is responsible for developing and managing business relationships with commercial customers. She is based at NBT Bank’s Capital Region Financial Center located at 80 Wolf Road in Albany.

Janetsky, who has 19 years of banking experience, joined NBT Bank in 2001 as a branch supervisor. She joined the commercial banking team as commercial administrative specialist in 2002 and was promoted to be an account representative in 2016. Janetsky earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University at Albany.

NBT Bank offers personal banking, business banking, and wealth-management services from locations in six states — New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The bank and its parent company, NBT Bancorp, are headquartered in Norwich, New York. NBT Bancorp had assets of $8.9 billion as of March 31, 2017.
