GHS Class of 1967 holds golden reunion

GUILDERLAND — During the weekend of Sept. 22 to 24, the Guilderland High School class of 1967, will be celebrating its 50th reunion.

Activities will include:

— Sept. 22: Evening informal get together at Across the Street Pub;

— Sept. 23: Evening banquet at The Western Turnpike Golf Club; and

— Sept. 24: Afternoon picnic at Tawasentha Park.

The reunion committee is asking businesses throughout the community, if possible, to donate toward this event. The program for the banquet will include recognition and a thank-you to all contributors.

“The committee would be grateful for any monetary donations that would be used towards defraying the cost of the banquet and the purchase of food or paper products for our picnic,” said organizer Regina (nee Bulman) Brown.

Checks should be made out to Francis Daggett Jr., committee president.

“If your business would like to donate a product, that would be used for door prizes and special recognition awards (e.g. person who traveled the farthest, person with the most grandchildren, etc.). I want to thank you for your consideration of our request,” said Brown.
